Jerry King is a retired neurological surgeon. During his neurosurgical career he served as Acting Chief of Neurosurgery at the University of North Carolina Medical Center in Chapel Hill. He subsequently served as Chief of Surgery and Chief of Neurosurgery at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence, South Carolina.

Upon retiring from his medical practice he took extensive training in North Carolina real estate at the Fonville Morisey Training Center and the J Y Monk Real Estate Training Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. He then joined Meadowmont Realty and now specializes in buying and selling residential property in the Meadowmont Community.
